Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In a video interview posted on social networks on 25 August 2020, Russian blogger Ilya Varlamov expressed his personal opinion about proper control of citizens and their hand luggage at border checkpoints when crossing from Kazakhstan to Uzbekistan.
The study of this issue showed that blogger Varlamov Ilya Aleksandrovich over the past 5 years did not move at all through checkpoints on the Uzbek-Kazakh border. It turned out that on 9 February 2020, a citizen flew on a direct flight from the Russian Federation to Uzbekistan, by an airplane that landed at 05:10 Uzbek time at the Samarkand airport, and on 10 August, left the territory of Uzbekistan, leaving for the Republic of Tajikistan through the border customs post "Jartepa" of the customs point in Samarkand region.
Customs control at the border customs post "Jartepa" in relation to the citizen was carried out in a simplified and operational manner.
Between the officers of the border customs posts of the International Airport Samarkand and "Jartepa" who served that day and citizen I.A. Varlamov. no disagreements were recorded.
Today, all border customs posts are equipped with modern scanning devices. Customs control in respect of hand luggage and baggage carried by citizens is carried out quickly and in accordance with the requirements of current legislation.
Also, there are separate corridors for foreign tourists visiting our country at the border customs posts.
