The State Assets Management Agency revealed information on the privatization process of UzSungwoo, Avto Climate Control, and Uz Truck and Bus Motors
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The State Assets Management Agency of the Republic of Uzbekistan has published information regarding the ongoing privatization process of state shares in the authorized capital of three companies: UzSungwoo LLC (50%), Avto Climate Control LLC (100%), and Uz Truck and Bus Motors LLC (34.2%).
The consultant selected for the privatization process is Portfolio Investments, a company conducting these activities based on international experience.
According to the provided information, interest in acquiring shares has been expressed by three investors for Avto Climate Control LLC and five investors for Uz Truck and Bus Motors LLC. However, no investor showed interest in the share of UzSungwoo LLC.
After analyzing all the received applications, the consultants confirmed that all applicants met the stated requirements, including having sufficient financial resources, no ongoing litigation, and compliance with laws, including adherence to international sanctions.
For Avto Climate Control LLC, after signing a non-disclosure agreement (NDA), the three shortlisted applicants will gain access to a virtual data room (VDR), where detailed information about the asset will be available, necessary for preparing non-binding offers (NBO). The deadline for submitting NBOs is 23:59 (Tashkent time) on May 8, 2025. Work will also continue to attract additional investors and collect expressions of interest.
For Uz Truck and Bus Motors LLC, after signing the NDA, the five applicants will gain access to the virtual data room. NBOs will also be accepted until 23:59 (Tashkent time) on May 8, 2025, and agreements on the key terms of the transaction will be concluded.
Regarding UzSungwoo LLC, the State Assets Management Agency reports the extension of the deadline for submitting expressions of interest in acquiring the asset until 23:59 (Tashkent time) on May 26, 2025.
