In 2022, it is planned to carry out chemical treatment throughout the Republic in areas of more than 580.3 thousand hectares, where harmful locusts can spread, Sabina Sadinova, head of the information service of the Agency for Plant Protection and Quarantine, said.
To date, the spread of locusts in the territories of our country with an area of 292,600 hectares has been revealed. Chemical treatment was carried out on an area of 284,000 hectares.
To date, chemical treatments have been carried out in the territories in Kashkadarya, Surkhandarya, Jizzakh, Samarkand, Navoi, Syrdarya, Bukhara, Andijan, Khorezm, Namangan, Ferghana regions and the Republic of Karakalpakstan.
