Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Kengash of People’s Deputies of Tashkent decided to reduce the speed of cars on some streets of the capital.

In accordance with the decision, the speed of vehicles is reduced to 60 km/h in all streets of the Small Ring Road.

At the same time, the speed of vehicles on some streets is reduced to 50 km/h. The list of these streets includes the streets of Alisher Navoi, Makhtumkuli, Amir Temur, the Small Ring Road, Islam Karimov, Taras Shevchenko, Babur and Furkat, as well as the street around Amir Temur Square.

It is noted that in the future the speed will be reduced if the measures taken show their effectiveness.
