Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - The Government adopted a resolution “On measures to organize the activities of the small industrial zone “Sergeli Industrial Park ”.

In accordance with the resolution, a special management procedure is being introduced in the territory of the small industrial zone “Industrial Park “Sergeli” with the creation of a separate Directorate in the form of a state unitary enterprise.

The Directorate has a number of tasks. In particular, the Directorate acts as a customer, organizes the development of a master plan for a small industrial zone with the involvement of leading domestic and foreign design organizations.

The Directorate is vested with the right to monitor the proper implementation by investors of their obligations.

According to the decree, the selection of investment projects for placement on the territory of a small industrial zone is carried out by the Administrative Council.

By a resolution, the Governing Body was given the right to make decisions on the provision of land to participants in a small industrial zone for permanent use and to determine the amount of payment for each hectare of these land plots.
