Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- These days, information about the mass dismissal of employees of the Angren Shakar Limited Liability Company has been disseminated on social networks.

This on-site situation was studied by Malika Kadirkhanova, a member of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis, together with senior officials of the Akhangaran city khokimiyat and representatives of the media.

This enterprise has not been functioning for almost 5 months. However, despite this, until recently, workers and employees were paid a monthly salary. Some workers were sent on unpaid leave.

At present, the enterprise, by mutual agreement, terminates the employment contracts concluded with employees, with the condition of re-hiring them later, when the enterprise resumes its activities. As of 28 October, more than 163 workers and employees were laid off, all of them were paid compensation payments. The staff was warned about the possibility of dismissal, sending on unpaid leave.

Senator Malika Kadirkhanova talked with senior officials of the Akhangaran city khokimiyat, workers and managers of this enterprise.

Currently, the Akhangaran city khokimiyat and the regional khokimiyat are discussing preliminary plans for the employment of citizens temporarily unemployed and are preparing appropriate proposals. It provides for employment, mainly of workers with a certain experience in industry and production, at production facilities close to their fields.

The workers and employees dismissed from the enterprise were informed that a conclusion is being prepared with a proposal for new jobs within 15 days.
