The second stage of exams to the Specialized School named after Muhammad al-Khorazmiy starts

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 5 October 2020, the second stage of entrance examinations to the Specialized School for Advanced Study of ICT named after Muhammad al-Khwarizmi for the 2020/2021 academic year began.

As a reminder, the Ministry for the Development of Information Technologies and Communications and the Agency for the Development of Presidential, Creative and Specialized Schools under the Cabinet of Ministers from September 10 to 20, 2020, held the acceptance of documents from students in grades 5-9 of the Specialized School for Advanced Study of ICT named after Muhammad al-Khwarizmi for the 2020/2021 academic year.

In the first stage (on 25-29 September) 3292 students (3353 registered students) took part in online exams in mathematics, physics and English.

As a result of the first stage, 847 students received the right to take part in the second stage of admission.

Students who successfully pass the first stage of the exams, based on class level, from 5 to 9 October, will take an online interview in mathematics, physics and English using the ZOOM program.

For the 5th grade, the interview will take place on 5-6 October, for the 6-7th grade - 7 and 8 October, and for the 8-9th grade - on 9 October.

At the second stage of the English exam, 1 topic is given for reading, translation and verification of the level of oral proficiency in English, 2 examples are given in mathematics and physics.

Specialists from Inha University in Tashkent, Amity University in Tashkent, Tashkent University of Information Technologies named after Muhammad al-Khwarizmi will be involved in the examination process. Amity University in Tashkent and Inha University in Tashkent were the first in Uzbekistan to conduct online entrance exams for the 2020-2021 academic year.

According to the quota, 120 students will be selected on a competitive basis for the 5th grade, 60 students for the 6th grade, 60 students for the 7th grade, 60 students for the 8th grade and 30 students for the 9th grade - a total of 330 students.
