The Sanitary and Epidemiological Welfare Service receives the first lot of locally produced Sputnik V vaccine

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Service for Sanitary and Epidemiological Wellbeing and Public Health of Uzbekistan received the first batch of locally produced Sputnik V vaccine.

About 260,500 doses of Sputnik V vaccine (components 1 and 2) were transferred to the Sanitary and Epidemiological Welfare and Public Health Service.

It should be noted that Jurabek Laboratories has launched the production of the Sputnik V vaccine in Almalyk. The plant’s capacities make it possible to bottle up to 10 million doses of various vaccines every month.

Now Russia is sending the vaccine to Uzbekistan in a finished form in special thermal containers. At the factory, the vaccine is bottled.
