Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Starting from 7 March, repair and reconstruction work on Tashkent’s road network will commence, as announced by the city administration’s press service.

In accordance with the relevant decrees of the President and the Cabinet of Ministers, and with the aim of improving road safety and enhancing travel conditions for residents and public transport, a comprehensive inspection was carried out to assess the condition of the capital’s streets with heavy traffic.

Based on the collected data, a targeted repair program has been developed, identifying sections requiring both routine and major renovations in 2025. Under this plan, road surfaces will be restored across a total area exceeding 65,000 square meters.

The repair work will be carried out by specialized teams using modern technologies and materials designed to ensure durability and high-quality road surfaces. To minimize inconvenience for drivers and prevent traffic congestion, the majority of the work will be conducted during off-peak hours.
