Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – The Government adopted a resolution “On measures to guarantee the provision of the population of the republic and social institutions with the main types of agricultural products in the winter-spring period 2019-2020”.

The resolution approved the forecasted volumes of accumulation in the reserve of the main types of agricultural products for the winter-spring season 2019-2020.

According to this, in the republic, the total volume of agricultural stocks of 4 main types (potatoes, onions, carrots, rice) amounted to 414,399 tons.

Also, in order to accumulate stocks of these products, as an exception, direct contracting agreements will be concluded between producers of products, preparatory organizations and social institutions.

According to the resolution, until 2020 from 1 January, shedules will be developed for the delivery of products to the domestic consumer market and the placement of outlets.

At the same time, products will be evenly distributed across all areas of the republic, including mountainous and hard-to-reach areas.

For budgetary organizations, limited prices will be set for the purchase of the main types of agricultural products and socially significant food products.
