The requirement to submit financial statements to the tax and statistical authorities has been abolished

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A Resolution of the President “On measures to optimize the procedures for submitting reports and storing archival documents” was adopted.

In accordance with the Resolution:

the obligation of legal entities to store and archive archival documents on wages and other incomes of individuals after 1 January 2022, as well as the amounts of taxes accrued on them, is cancelled;

- from 1 January 2022, legal entities are exempt from the obligation to store and archive financial, tax and statistical reports submitted electronically to the state tax service and statistics;

- from 1 January 2023, the requirement for quarterly submission of financial reports to the tax and statistical authorities by accounting entities is canceled;

- from 2023, business entities paying VAT at a fixed tax rate are exempted from the obligation to submit annual financial reports to the tax authorities.

From 1 January 2023, the following types of statistical reporting are cancelled:

- Report on exchange activity;

- Report on the state of working conditions;

- Report on the distribution of the number of employees by the amount of accrued wages;

- Report on public railway transport services;

- Report on the activities of a commercial bank;

- Report on the activities of the insurance company;

- Report on available construction machines and mechanisms in small construction organizations and micro-firms;

- Report on the activities of pipeline transport;

- Report on the purchase of fruits and vegetables.

From 1 May 2023, legal entities are allowed to draw up in electronic form contracts for the provision of electricity, natural gas, hot water, drinking water supply, the provision of sewerage and telecommunications services, reports on their consumption, one-time and periodic documents at a contractual value for the next period.

Until 1 January 2024, the practice of electronic acceptance, storage and provision of documents of business entities upon request will be established by integrating the Archive information system with information systems and databases of the relevant ministries and departments.
