Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A resolution of the President "On additional measures for the systematic organization of recreation and further improvement of work on the improvement of children" was adopted.

According to the resolution, the following are created in the system of the Federation of Trade Unions of Uzbekistan:

Foundation for Assistance to the Improvement of Children and Restoration of the Health of the Population;

Department of organization of recreation and health improvement of children.

At the expense of the Fund, compensation payments are made to the camps in order to cover part of the costs of rest and recreation for the children of trade union members in the camps, in the amount of two sizes of basic estimated value (600,000 soums) for each voucher, but not exceeding 50 percent of the cost of the voucher.

From 1 January  2023:

quarterly, 10 percent of the overfulfilled part of the forecast of local budget revenues is sent to the Fund;

a part of up to 50 percent of the cost of vouchers to camps, but not exceeding a single size of the basic estimated value for each voucher (300,000 soums) purchased for children by employees of state bodies and organizations, can be compensated.

The Republican Commission on the Systematic Organization of Children’s Recreation and Rehabilitation is being created.
