Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Government resolution approved the Regulations on centers for employment and health promotion of women in mahallas.
According to the Regulations, centers for employment and health promotion of women in mahallas are created in each mahalla and are not legal entities.
In order to ensure permanent employment of up to 20 women, within the framework of one social project in the centers, entrepreneurs are allocated a state grant in the amount of up to 3 million soums for each unemployed woman whose employment is provided.
The state grant is allocated to the following categories of women for projects aimed at vocational training, as well as entrepreneurship training, employment and promotion of starting a business:
women included in the "Unified Register of Social Protection", as well as in the "Women’s Notebook";
unemployed women involved in raising children, especially in rural areas;
women returning from foreign labor migration;
able-bodied unemployed women with disabilities;
women engaged in daily work activities and earning an income to reduce informal employment;
women who have suffered from human trafficking, as well as from persecution and violence, who are in a difficult economic situation;
unemployed women who graduated from general educational institutions of secondary and vocational education, who did not enter universities or who do not have the opportunity to get higher education;
women who have been previously prosecuted, who are on preventive records, who have returned from penitentiary institutions.
