Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 12 August, at about 14:30 in Mirzo-Ulugbek district of Tashkent, near the Buyuk ipak yuli metro station, a part of the suspended ceiling made of composite panels (alucobond) collapsed in one of the underground passages.

There were no casualties in the incident. As it turned out later, part of the structure collapsed under the weight of water accumulated as a result of watering the lawn, which is located above the underground passage. The consequences of the collapse were minor.

Within a few minutes, the site was cleared of fragments of the false ceiling.
