Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 2 June, a meeting of an expert working group on the implementation of the China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan railway construction project was held.

During the meeting, held in the form of a videoconference, the delegation was headed by the Deputy Director of the Department of the State Committee of the People’s Republic of China for Development and Reforms, Ms. Zhang Jianghua, Deputy Minister of Transport and Communications of the Kyrgyz Republic Almaz Turgunbaev and Deputy Minister of Transport of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdusamat Muminov.

At the meeting, the issue of accelerating the development of a feasibility study for the railway construction project was discussed. In particular, an exchange of views took place on the work plan presented by China in this direction.

During the meeting, the parties also discussed issues related to the start of field research, the participation of design and survey institutes in this process.
