Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 30 November, the General Prosecutor's Office hosted a meeting between the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Uzbekistan Nigmatilla Yuldoshev and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Turkey to the Republic of Uzbekistan Olgan Bekar.

The parties discussed the state of cooperation between the competent authorities of the two countries in the legal sphere, the prospects for its development and deepening in the course of solving common problems of combating crime, ensuring the rule of law and law and order.

In particular, they noted the special practical importance of the Treaty between Uzbekistan and Turkey on the transfer of convicts being worked out in the new edition.

The participants of the meeting noted that the dialogue that took place will give a new impetus to the further strengthening of relations in the legal sphere.
