Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - A government resolution approved the Regulation "On the procedure for the formation and use of funds from the Fund for Supporting State Youth Policy of the Agency for Youth Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan."

According to the regulation, the fund is an off-budget fund of the agency for youth affairs, which does not have the status of a legal entity.

The resources of the fund are used, inter alia, for:

- financing of activities aimed at protecting the rights and freedoms, the legitimate interests of youth;

- Compensation of 50 percent (but up to 5-fold basic estimated value) of the expenses of young people included in the "book of youth" for training in non-state educational organizations in foreign languages and general subjects, as well as for passing exams in them to obtain national certificates;

- reimbursement of expenses for passing exams for talented young people who have scored the highest scores in international examination systems (IELTS, TOEFL, GMAT, GRE, SAT, etc.);

- provision of a social order to the media, including non-profit organizations and other civil society institutions, for youth programs, projects, contests and other events;

- to compensate private enterprises and organizations for the costs of training in driving courses for pupils of Mehribonlik homes and youth included in the “youth notebook” (up to 4-fold basic estimated value).
