Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The State Duma of Russia ratified an agreement with the Government of Uzbekistan on a simplified procedure for staying in Russia.

The document proposes to cancel the mandatory registration in Russia within 15 days from the date of entry for citizens of Uzbekistan and for Russians entering Uzbekistan.

The agreement between the governments of Russia and Uzbekistan was signed on 21 May 2021 in Moscow and on 17 June 2021 in Tashkent.

A similar approach applies to citizens of Belarus, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Armenia and Kyrgyzstan, and also applies to Russians who arrived in these states.
