Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On measures to develop the state social insurance system" was adopted.
The document approved the Regulations on the appointment and payment of benefits for state social insurance for pregnancy and childbirth. Here are its main rules:
The regulation determines the procedure for assigning and paying benefits to employees of all legal entities (except for budgetary organizations) with continuous work experience over the past 6 months;
the allowance is paid before the birth of a child in the amount of 4 times the minimum cost of consumption;
the allowance is paid from the funds of the Social Insurance Fund under the Ministry of Finance;
the obligations of legal entities to pay benefits are reduced by the amount of benefits paid from the Fund;
the basis for the appointment of benefits is a disability certificate issued by an obstetrician-gynecologist of outpatient clinics (hereinafter referred to as the leaflet);
the allowance is assigned and paid through the information system "Unified Register" without the appeal of citizens;
after filling out the leaflet, the responsible health worker enters information into the "Medicine" system, after which the information is integrated with the "Unified Register" system;
upon confirmation in the Unified Register system of the availability of the required length of service, as well as the fact of receiving income for the specified period, a decision is made to assign benefits;
the benefit is paid by transferring funds to the recipient’s active plastic card (on which a transaction was made within the last 60 days) before the 10th day of the month;
if the recipient does not have a plastic card, the allowance is paid by the People’s Bank in cash until the 27th day of the month.
The resolution also approved the Regulations on the Social Insurance Fund under the Ministry of Finance.
