Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Government resolution approved the Regulations on the procedure for paying additional payments to employees of medical institutions with an academic degree.

The regulation establishes the procedure for monthly additional payments to medical workers with academic degrees who contribute to the development of science in the field of medicine in state medical and preventive institutions.

Accordingly, employees of institutions with a Doctor of Science, Candidate of Science or PhD degree are set a monthly allowance at their main place of work.

The allowance for an employee is set for the next year based on an analysis of the results of his activities for the current year (calendar year).

The amount of the additional payment is set in proportion to the position occupied by the employee, but not more than one rate to the official salary accrued monthly.

If an employee works in several institutions under an employment contract in accordance with the procedure established by law, he will be entitled to receive additional payment at his main place of work.

The amount of the additional payment per month should not exceed 30 percent of the official salary for employees with a Ph.D., and 60 percent of the official salary for employees with a Doctor of Science degree.

The requirements of this Regulation do not apply to medical workers of republican specialized scientific and practical centers who receive additional payment in accordance with the Regulation approved by the Government.
