Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A Government resolution “On measures to further support volunteer activities” was adopted.

The resolution approved a model Regulation on the procedure for implementing the tasks and functions of state bodies through volunteering in a relatively efficient and cost-effective manner.

From 1 June 2022, an electronic platform for volunteers will be launched, created on the basis of the Youth Portal of Uzbekistan.

As volunteers, persons who have reached the age of majority, possessing knowledge and skills in the relevant field of activity, attracted as volunteers, may be involved in the activities of state bodies.

Students can engage in volunteer activities as part of a group of volunteers outside of school hours.

You cannot attract volunteers to structures that are engaged in:

- carrying out operations related to money;

- storage and processing of confidential information;

- performance of tasks dangerous to human life, which require special knowledge and skills.

If a volunteer involved in a state body is engaged in volunteering for more than 20 hours a month, a volunteer agreement must be concluded with him.
