Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - The Government resolution approved the Regulation on the procedure for reimbursing part of the monthly rent to students of state higher educational institutions living on a lease basis, at the expense of the State budget.

According to the Regulation, reimbursement of part of the monthly rent to students living on a leasehold basis applies to applicants living on a leasehold basis in accordance with a real estate lease that has been registered with state tax authorities.

Within the limits of the registered permanent place of residence (at the level of the district, city) reimbursement of part of the monthly rent is not made to applicants.

In cases where two or more students have lived in the same dwelling on a leasehold basis, all of them must be registered in the lease agreement.

This procedure applies only to students of a state university who study full-time and live on a lease basis.

At the same time, the applicant submits the relevant information or documents to the deputy dean of the department for work with youth of the faculty where he is studying, or to the department of the university that coordinates the work on providing students with housing.

Responsible persons examine the compliance of the applicant’s data with social criteria within 1 week.

Then the information is summarized and presented to the selection committee on the first day of the next week for consideration and conclusion.

The Commission makes a decision within one working day after examining the information about the applicants.

Accordingly, the order of the rector of the state university (director of the branch) is drawn up, which provides the relevant information about the applicants whose applications were satisfied, and their list submitted to the accounting department for making payments.

For students, on whose application a positive decision was made, part of the rent is covered by the State budget from the date of submission of the application.

Reimbursement of part of the rent:

- determined during the academic year (annually from September 1 to July 1) or in accordance with the training program, depending on the length of the academic year;

- carried out by the applicant before the 7th day of each month after the filing of applications to the defendants.

Applications submitted after the expiration of these deadlines will not be considered.

It should be reminded that the reimbursable part of the rent in the city of Tashkent should not exceed 1-fold of the basic estimated value, in other regions - 0.5-fold of the basic estimated value.
