Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Regulation on the procedure for obtaining a second and further education in higher educational institutions was approved by the Government resolution.

According to the Regulation, persons with a bachelor’s degree (certified specialist) with higher education can receive a second and subsequent higher education in the areas of bachelor’s degree.

The parameters of admission to the second and subsequent higher education are determined by the Council of the university.

For admission, applicants are registered annually from July 10 to August 10 (and on this day as well) through a special electronic system developed by the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education.

The admission procedure (the form of the entrance exam, assessment criteria, the timing of the exam) is published on the official website of the university every year until July 1.

The results of admission are published by the university annually by 30 August.

Education in the second and subsequent higher educational institutions begins with the 2nd year. At the same time, the duration of study is set one year less than the period established for the corresponding areas of undergraduate education.

The provision does not apply to higher military educational institutions.

This procedure comes into force on 1 May 2022.
