Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Government resolution approved the Regulation on the procedure for providing subsidies from the state Employment Promotion Fund to employers hiring persons with disabilities.
According to the Regulations, employers hiring persons with disabilities (with the exception of budgetary organizations, state enterprises, legal entities, in the authorized capital of which the state share is 50 percent or more), are provided with a subsidy in the amount of 1.5 times the size of the basic estimated value (405,000 soums) for each employee.
At the same time, the employer, after hiring a person with disabilities, applies for a subsidy to the district (city) Center for the Promotion of Employment of the Population, attaching the necessary documents.
The district (city) Center for the Promotion of Employment of the Population examines the documents within 3 working days and, based on the results of the study, makes a decision to allocate (refuse to allocate) a subsidy.
In case of a positive decision, the subsidy is paid to the employer in the next month for each month (within 6 months).
At the end of each month, the actual work of persons with disabilities hired is monitored.
