Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - By the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers amendments and additions were made to some resolutions of the Government.

According to the amendments made, the Procedure for assigning Presidential and State scholarships to undergraduate and graduate students has been approved separately.

The Presidential Scholarship is awarded to 1 Bachelor’s graduate from each university.

Other government scholarships are awarded to students enrolled in the last two years.

The nomination of candidates for scholarships is carried out by the councils of universities on the basis of a public discussion of the educational and scientific activities of the applicants.

The candidates recommended for the next stage of the competition on the basis of the decision of the university council are introduced to the site "stipendiya.edu.uz" annually from 1 to 15 August.

The scholarship recommendations will be reviewed from 10 to 30 September. Scholarships are awarded from 1 September.
