Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Regulation on the procedure for the selection and enrollment of candidates to the University of Public Security was approved by a government resolution.

According to the Regulations, the enrollment of candidates for cadets in the areas of undergraduate training is carried out at the stages of the military-professional direction, preliminary selection and testing.

Only citizens of Uzbekistan are admitted to study at the University.

Those wishing to enter the University:

- citizens - it is necessary to apply with an application to the defense departments at the place of residence or to the territorial divisions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, based on educational areas;

- servicemen (employees) - apply with a notification to the military unit in which they serve.

Applications are accepted annually from 1 February to 20 March inclusive.

The admission of candidates to the University into the ranks of cadets, listeners and students is carried out by the State Testing Center through testing.

Applicants who graduated from educational institutions in the years preceding the academic year in which the testing is carried out (with the exception of those who are fully supported by the state) are charged a fee of half of the basic estimated value for participating in the testing.

Graduates of the university are issued a diploma of the corresponding sample, who have undergone military training - the military rank of lieutenant in reserve.

Indicators of student admission on a paid-contract basis for admission on a civil basis, for admission on an additional differentiated paid-contract basis are determined by the University independently.

Also, military personnel (employees) with a work experience of 5 years or more, serving in positions not lower than the rank of "major", not older than 45 years old until 31 December of the year of admission, are admitted to the master’s program of the University.

The financial support of persons enrolled in master's studies, established in the last position held, remains during the period of study.

Preliminary selection of candidates for educational areas "command and tactical activities of the road patrol service", "command and tactical activities of the patrol and guard service", "legal support of the passport system" is carried out by the territorial divisions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
