The premiere of the film “Uzbekistan. look beyond the horizon" takes place in Russia

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 18 September 2022, Valdis Pelsh’s film Uzbekistan. Look over the horizon" was aired on the First TV channel of Russia.

In a 36-minute documentary, the well-known TV presenter presented his own view of the unique features of Uzbekistan, its modern appearance, told how the most important sectors of the country, including energy, are developing.

To create the film, the film crew visited Samarkand, Tashkent, Shakhrisabz, and the grandeur, beauty of these cities, as well as their economic opportunities, are reflected in the film.

“The filming process lasted 23 days and during this time the film crew visited dozens of cities and interesting locations. Of course, we did not see most of the republic, but we made discoveries for ourselves, even though we read a lot of literature before arriving. For example, Shakhrisabz has become a complete revelation for us. Amazing place with unique sights and very nice people. The whole film is shot in the genre of travel. Thank you very much to everyone who helped us with this film, who participated in it,” commented Valdis Pelsh.

The film was shot with the organizational and sponsorship support of the oil service company Eriell Group in cooperation with the Cinematography Agency of Uzbekistan, and is a vivid example of partnership between Uzbek and Russian filmmakers.

It is worth noting that a memorandum on the creation of a documentary film was signed as part of the Cultural Heritage Week of Uzbekistan in December 2020, during the day “Cinema of Uzbekistan: past, present, future”.
