The practice of sending copies of records of acts to state statistics bodies by the registry office is canceled

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Presidential Decree "On additional measures to create more favorable conditions for the provision of public services to the population and business entities, to reduce bureaucratic barriers in this direction" clearly defines the tasks of the competent authorities after the death of an individual is registered. Accordingly, the following must be ensured:

The Ministry of Internal Affairs - deregistration of the passport or ID-card of a deceased person, as well as residence permits of foreign citizens and stateless persons, travel documents of stateless persons, driver's licenses, if the person is on the wanted list - entering relevant information into the search and criminal -procedural affairs (documents);

The the Ministry of Defense - removal of a deceased person from military registration;

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs - informing the relevant foreign states or their representations in Uzbekistan about deceased foreign citizens and stateless persons permanently residing abroad;

The Ministry of Health - exclusion of a deceased person from the list of persons with disabilities;

The Ministry of Employment and Labor Relations - removal of the deceased person from the register of the interdepartmental hardware and software complex of the "Unified National Labor System";

The State Tax Committee - deregistration as a taxpayer of deceased persons who have no tax arrears;

The off-budget Pension Fund - the appointment of an allowance for the burial of a deceased person and the termination of the accrual of other pensions and benefits;

The Public Services Agency - the transfer of a deceased individual entrepreneur to the status of a terminated activity in the Unified State Register of Entrepreneurship Entities.

From 1 June 2021:

- the practice of sending copies of records of acts and submitting reports to state statistics bodies by the registry office is canceled. At the same time, the state statistics bodies receive and form statistics in real time;

- the request by law enforcement agencies, the Antimonopoly Committee and the Agency for State Assets Management of information about business entities from the Agency and the Public Service Centers is stopped. Organizations independently receive this information from the Automated System of State Registration and Registration of Business Entities.
