Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- From 1 December 2022, in order to eliminate the practice of requesting unnecessary documents from citizens in the process of providing public services in the field of citizenship and migration:
- when issuing a new ID-card in connection with a change in the last name, first name, patronymic, nationality, date of birth of citizens or the establishment of inaccuracies in the records, verification of these circumstances is carried out through an electronic system, with the abolition of the requirement to provide documents confirming these circumstances;
- when issuing a new identification ID-card to citizens who have served a criminal sentence, documents confirming this circumstance are received through an electronic system.
