The practical training of some students to be organized in foreign institutions

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Regulation on the organization of industrial practice of students studying in higher educational institutions in the field of international relations in foreign institutions of the Republic of Uzbekistan was approved by the Government’s resolution.

According to the Regulations, the practice will be organized according to a program developed by the university and agreed with the host organization.

The practice is carried out once during one academic year for at least 10 days and no more than 30 days.

The practice takes place in 2 stages.

At the first stage, the university compiles a list of gifted 3rd year students who have perfectly mastered foreign languages. This list, as well as the recommendations issued for these students, are submitted to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs annually, no later than 1 July.

What students must provide upon selection:

- national or equivalent international certificate of knowledge of a foreign language, corresponding to the CEFR system at least C1 level;

- indicators of the overall rating (assimilation) not less than 80 points, no arrears in subjects.

In the second phase, candidates will be assigned to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in accordance with the requirements and needs of the host organization and will be interviewed by July 20.

During the period of internship, the student retains the right to receive a scholarship in the prescribed manner.

"Institutions of the Republic of Uzbekistan abroad" are understood as diplomatic missions, consular offices or missions of Uzbekistan to international organizations in foreign countries.

"International relations" refers to the areas of undergraduate education - "Political Science", "International Relations", "International Economics and Management" (by regions and areas of activity), "Jurisprudence" (international legal activity), "Economics of Foreign Countries and Regional Studies" (by countries and regions) and "World economy and international economic relations" (by regions and types of activity).
