Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 25 February, the chairman of the board of Uzsuvtaminot JSC, Sohib Saifnazarov, held negotiations with representatives of the LIT research and production association of the Russian Federation.

The meeting discussed the possibility of using modern technologies in the disinfection of water and air from various viruses and bacteria in Uzbekistan, in particular, with the help of ultraviolet rays.

NPO "LIT" is considered the leading company in the production of such equipment not only in Russia, but all over the world.

Ultraviolet disinfection is a physical method based on the effect of ultraviolet rays on microorganisms. Ultraviolet radiation disrupts the DNA and RNA structure of viruses, bacteria and protozoa, preventing the process of cell division.
