Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - On 23 April 2021, at the intersection of Kichik Beshagach and Bobur streets in Yakkasaray district of Tashkent city, three young people came to the attention of the Tashkent police department, who drove up in a Spark car (license plate 01 Р 114 QA) to the post, where the device for automatic recording of speed violations is fixed, and they began to throw stones at it.
Soon, the men, along with the car, were taken to the police department. The perpetrators were identified: they turned out to be 22-year-old Jakhongir M. (the driver of the aforementioned car, driving it on the basis of a power of attorney), 23-year-old Shavkatjon M and 23-year-old Akhror Sh.
During the conversation, it turned out that on the eve of the incident, the car owner received a decision to impose a fine in the amount of 1,225,000 soums in connection with the violation of the speed limit committed by Jahongir M. on 17 April 2021. The offense was recorded by the same radar. The man was not ready to bear the due responsibility for his actions and admit his mistake, but decided with his friends to “destroy the offender,” that is, the very automated radar.
On this fact, a protocol was drawn up against all three young people on the grounds of an offense provided for in Article 183 (“Petty hooliganism”) of the Code of Administrative Responsibility of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The decision on the punishment for men will be made by the court.
