The Number of Privately Owned Vehicles Exceeds 4.7 Million In Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — According to the National Statistics Committee, as of 1 October 2025, Uzbekistan had 4.72million vehicles registered to individuals.

Passenger cars make up the bulk of the fleet, totaling 4.39 million units, or 92.9% of the total. Over the year, their number increased by 415.3 thousand. By type of vehicle, the distribution is as follows: trucks — 312.7 thousand, minibuses — 7.5 thousand, specialized vehicles — 7.3 thousand, buses — 6 thousand.

The growth in the number of vehicles reflects the continued expansion of the population’s fleet and the increasing accessibility of private transportation in the country.
