The number of permanent population of Tashkent region exceeds 3 million people
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- As of 1 April 2023, the permanent population of the Tashkent region amounted to 3,007.0 thousand people, the Statistical Agency said in a statement.
Of them,
city population – 1.5 million people
the population of rural areas is 1.5 million people.
