The number of payment terminals exceeds 437,200

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In Uzbekistan, the number of payment terminals as of 1 December 2020 exceeded 437,200. Compared to the same period of 2019, the number of terminals increased by 17% or 62,000 the Central Bank of Uzbekistan said.

At the same time, as of 1 December 2020, the number of installed ATMs in Uzbekistan amounted to 11,621, which is 33% more compared to the same period of 2019.

Commercial banks issued 26 million banking cards as of 1 December 2020, which is 5.9 million more compared to the same period of 2019.
