The net profit of Uztransgaz makes up 2.5 trillion soums in 1Q

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- For the first quarter of 2024, the net profit of Uztransgaz made up 2.5 trillion soums, which is 34.2% more than in the same period in 2023.

The company’s assets decreased by 4.5% compared to the same period last year and amounted to 32.8 trillion soums. Own capital reached 2.6 trillion soums, growing by 143.9%.

Uztransgaz’s revenue for the first quarter amounted to 4.6 trillion soums (+11.8%), and gross profit - 3.2 trillion soums (+32.3%).

The cost of products sold decreased from 1.7 trillion to 1.5 trillion soums. Retained earnings for the year decreased from 11.0 trillion to 2.6 trillion soums (-76.6%).

Long-term loans decreased from 10.6 trillion to 6.7 trillion soums (-36.7%).
