Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A wanted person has been identified and returned through the National Central Bureau of Interpol of Uzbekistan in the United States of America. This was reported by the National Central Bureau of Interpol in the Republic of Uzbekistan.

According to the information support of the National Central Bureau of Interpol of Uzbekistan and joint operational actions with employees of the competent authorities of the United States of America, a citizen of the Republic of Uzbekistan, wanted by our internal affairs bodies for committing theft on an especially large scale, was detained and expelled, which is provided for by part 4 of article 169 of the Criminal Code.

So, thanks to the negotiations, joint operational actions and information exchange with the American side, employees of the NCB of Interpol of Uzbekistan, and the competent US authorities, a decision was made to expel the wanted man. 

Today, accompanied by US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers, the criminal was brought and handed over to the Interpol officers of Uzbekistan at the International Airport in Tashkent named after Islam Karimov.
