Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - The National Chamber of Innovative Healthcare of Uzbekistan was awarded the diploma of the "League of Health of the Nation" (Russia), the president of which is a well-known Russian doctor, academician Leo Bokeria.

The diploma was awarded on 10 June within the framework of the International Exhibition "Healthcare - TIHE 2021" taking place in Tashkent.

During the presentation, the vice-president of the League for the Health of the Nation Nikolai Kononov expressed gratitude on behalf of Leo Bokeria to the Chairman of the National Chamber Rovshan Izamov for partnership and assistance in developing the principles of a healthy lifestyle that underlie the activities of this All-Russian public organization.

The experience of the projects of this organization is interesting to modern Uzbekistan and is in many respects consonant with the directions that are being implemented in the direction of a healthy lifestyle in our country.

In particular, during the Tashkent exhibition, an extensive Russian program "Healthy Municipality" was presented, the implementation of which began in 2015 and today covers all 85 constituent entities of the Russian Federation, and, accordingly, over 21 thousand municipalities (local governments).

As N. Kononov noted, the main task of the Program is to create conditions for the population to choose and lead a healthy lifestyle, to promote the availability of health infrastructure at the municipal level, to increase the duration and quality of life of people.

One of the most popular areas of the Program is the Walking Man competition and the all-Russian campaign 10 Thousand Steps to Life. These initiatives have found wide support in recent years, as Gazprom has created 157 teams of walking enthusiasts in different regions, which contributes to an increase in people’s attention to their health.

The National Chamber of Innovative Healthcare of Uzbekistan will continue cooperation with the Russian "League of the Health of the Nation", exchange of experience in the practical implementation of the principles of a healthy lifestyle in our countries.
