Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A woman, who threw her daughter into an enclosure with a bear at the Tashkent Zoo, was registered at a psychoneurological dispensary. This was reported by the Prosecutor General’s Office.
According to the agency, she was registered in a psychoneurological dispensary in July 2021.
Investigators ordered a psychiatric examination to determine the defendant’s condition at the moment when she threw her three-year-old daughter into the bear enclosure.
Upon arrival at the hospital, three year old girl was admitted to the Department of Pediatric Injury Surgery with Neurosurgery, where she was constantly under the supervision of doctors. After staying there for one day, the girl was transferred to the intensive care unit.
“At the moment she is in the intensive care unit, her condition is assessed as stable. Control examination in dynamics was carried out. We are doing everything possible so that in the future the girl does not experience any consequences of this incident,” said Sobir Nasimov, PhD and attending physician.
The girl is in a good mood, she entertains the nurses with poems, and we, in turn, pleased her with gifts. In addition to her and her brother, we decided to make free admission to the Tashkent Zoo forever.
Her mother was charged with attempted murder.
