Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 26 December 2022, consultations were held via videoconference between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Russian Federation.
The delegations of the parties were headed by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhromjon Aloev and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Mikhail Galuzin.
The participants of the consultations discussed a wide range of issues of the Uzbek-Russian relations of strategic partnership, the implementation of the agreements reached following the meetings of the Leaders of the two countries, and also outlined plans for 2023.
The parties expressed their readiness to further intensify the constructive political dialogue. The schedule of events through the parliaments, governments and economic structures of Uzbekistan and Russia was considered.
An agreement was reached to continue cooperation within the framework of international institutions.
Special attention at the consultations was also paid to building up cultural and humanitarian exchanges.
