Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Union of International Scientific Organizations (ANSO), the China Center for International Cultural Exchange (CICEC) and the International People’s Magazine (GPM) yesterday held a ceremony of awarding the winners of the Silk Road Friendship Award, Dunyo news agency reported.

During the online event, the Minister of Innovative Development of Uzbekistan Ibrokhim Abdurakhmanov was solemnly awarded the Silk Road Friendship Ambassador Award.

It should be noted that the candidacy of the Uzbek minister was selected from more than a thousand applicants, taking into account his high role in the successful conduct of clinical trials of the Uzbek-Chinese ZF-UZ-VAC-2001 vaccine and the implementation of joint cooperation projects in a pandemic.

The Silk Road Friendship Ambassador Award, established by CICEC in 2020, is awarded to members of the central governments of countries, scientists and artists who have contributed to the development of bilateral cooperation between foreign states.
