Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - A regular meeting of the Council of Heads of Government of the Commonwealth of Independent States will be held today in the format of a video conference call. This was reported by the press service of the CIS Executive Committee. The delegation of Uzbekistan is represented by Abdulla Aripov, Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The heads of government are expected to exchange views on topical issues of economic cooperation in the CIS, discuss topics related to the reclamation of areas affected by uranium mining, the development of railway transport. In addition, it is planned to make a decision on the chairman of the Committee for Internationalist Warriors under the Council of CIS Heads of Government, to determine the date and place of the next meeting of the CST.
It is also planned to sign documents regulating the interaction of the Commonwealth countries in the field of copyright and related rights in information and telecommunication networks, innovative cooperation.
In addition, the meeting will approve a draft action plan for holding the Year of Folk Art and Cultural Heritage in the Commonwealth in 2022.
