Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 24 June at about 09:00 at the intersection of Zargarlik and Shirin streets in Uchtepa district of Tashkent, 58-year-old MAN truck driver Hamidulla Sh. hit a pedestrian, 35-year-old Sergei B.

Preliminary cause of the accident: the truck driver did not notice a man crossing the carriageway through an unregulated pedestrian crossing.

A pedestrian was hospitalized with bodily injuries resulting from an accident.

A criminal case has been instituted on this fact in accordance with the first part of Article 266 (“Violation of the rules for the safety of movement or operation of vehicles”) of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
