Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The resolution of the President of Uzbekistan “On measures to accelerate the improvement of the emergency medical care system” from 25 January 2018 serves as an important indication for improving the efficiency, quality and efficiency of work in this direction, improving the qualifications of personnel, as well as introduction of scientific achievements into practice.
As a result of the ongoing reforms, the work aimed at strengthening the efficiency of the emergency medical service and improving coordination between primary health care institutions in our country is under constant scrutiny. In recent years, ambulance points have been opened in a number of rural family polyclinics.
This is confirmed by the presence of ambulances in 1,500 primary health care facilities. And the number of mobile ambulance teams in the country today is 2748.
“As a result of reforms in the industry, the level of provision of emergency medical service doctors in the republic has increased to an average of 89%,” says Doniyor Alimov, director of the Republican Scientific Center for Emergency Medical Aid. - In Samarkand and Jizzakh regions, this figure exceeds 90%. The level of provision of the service with middle-level medical personnel in the republic as a whole has reached 97%, and in 11 regions - 100%.
At the same time, it is good news that 4342 people out of almost 13 thousand doctors of the "103" service have the highest category, 2156 people have 10-20 years of work experience, and 2006 people have been working in the ambulance for over 20 years.
The number of mid-level medical workers in the emergency medical care system of our country is 28 thousand people.
Of these, 38.7% have a qualification category. 5984 people have 5-10 years of work experience, 5845 people have 10-20 years of work experience, and 4383 people have worked in the system for over 20 years.
