Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 10 November, as part of the program of the summit of the Organization of Turkic States in the city of Samarkand, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev held talks with Prime Minister of Hungary Viktor Orban.
At the meeting, issues of expanding practical cooperation and strengthening bilateral relations of strategic partnership in accordance with the agreements at the highest level were substantively considered.
The fruitful results of active business contacts, including within the framework of the joint business forum held these days with the participation of leading companies and enterprises of the two countries, were noted with satisfaction.
Particular attention was paid to the promotion of joint investment cooperation projects in the field of industry, the chemical industry, pharmaceuticals, the banking and financial sector, transport and logistics, and other priority areas. An agreement was reached on accelerating the creation of mechanisms for financial support of business initiatives.
The importance of continuing active humanitarian exchange programs, primarily in the field of education, culture and cinematography, was emphasized.
