Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- At the 35th plenary session of the Senate, the issues of electing the Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Uzbekistan and amending the composition of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Uzbekistan were discussed.

Following the discussion by the senators of the issue of electing the Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shukhrat Polvanov was elected for another ten-year term as a judge, for a five-year term as Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Uzbekistan - Chairman of the Judicial Collegium for economic affairs.

After that, the senators discussed the issue of amending the composition of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

By the decision of the Senate Gulnora Mirzayeva, Abdikamal Abdikarimov and Askar Bekmanov were elected to the position of a judge of the Supreme Court for a period of ten years.
