Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Today, a meeting was held at the Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies with the participation of officials headed by Deputy Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation Sh. Turdikulova.

During the meeting, the instructions of the Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, the tasks defined in them and long-term plans for 2023 were discussed.

The rector of the university informed about the fulfillment of the tasks specified in the minutes of the meeting under the leadership of the minister. The head of the educational institution made a presentation on the work done at the university in recent years and plans for the future. Information is provided on the implementation of the decree of the head of state "On measures to radically improve the system of personnel training and increase the scientific potential in the field of oriental studies."

During the meeting, issues of unification of the indicators of the national ranking with those of the international ranking, access to the international rankings QS and THE until 2026, organization of educational exhibitions in foreign partner universities, exchange of new areas and specialties with them, in particular, the creation of joint educational programs.

Sh. Turdikulova got acquainted with the educational process and new educational buildings put into operation at the beginning of the current academic year, as well as the conditions created for teaching students, carrying out scientific activities by teachers and researchers.

Following the visit, the Deputy Minister held a lively conversation with the students of the university. During the meeting, students received answers to their questions.
