Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 28 September 2022, the International Conference "Artificial Intelligence, Electronic Governance and Access to Information" was held in Tashkent.
The event, organized by the Agency for Information and Mass Communications, the Public Foundation for the Support and Development of National Mass Media and UNESCO, is dedicated to the International Day of Universal Access to Information (28 September).
Deputy Prime Minister, Chairman of the National Commission of our country for UNESCO Aziz Abdukhakimov, Director of the Public Fund for Support and Development of National Mass Media Nozima Davletova, Assistant Director General of UNESCO Tuafik Jelassi spoke at the opening ceremony of the forum.
Participants discussed topics such as harnessing the power of digital governance and artificial intelligence for informed and empowered citizens, their role in advancing inclusive approaches to access to information, ensuring accountability in the digital age, and more.
As a result of the conference, the Tashkent Declaration was adopted.
