Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - On 26 January 2021, an agreement between the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany on the exchange and mutual protection of classified information, signed on 28 May 2019 in Tashkent, entered into force.

The document is aimed at creating a legal basis for the exchange and mutual protection of classified information, taking into account the intensification of bilateral interaction in the political, trade, economic, financial and other spheres.
