Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Topical issues of further development of Uzbek-German relations were discussed during the meeting between Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federal Republic of Germany in our country Tilo Klinner, held on 12 January 2023.

The positive dynamics of the political dialogue at the highest and high levels was noted with satisfaction.

An exchange of views took place on the organizational and substantive aspects of the planned events in bilateral and multilateral formats.

The interest of Uzbekistan and Germany in building up trade and economic cooperation, including the diversification of trade between the countries and increasing the number of joint ventures, was emphasized.

Particular attention was paid to the possibilities of expanding the Uzbek-German cooperation in the fields of culture, education and science.
